Things have certainly been
happening in the life of Sew N Sew in Sun City!
Be sure to take a look at the photo albums on
the website to see what our models looked like
for the 50th Anniversary Fashion
Show.

board meeting, check the bulletin board in the
club's room.
Treasurer's/Membership report:
Balance on hand May 6 $3506.90; CD balance:
$3593.75; our current membership is 103.
Service projects: A delivery to
Luke Air Force Base will be made in May. The
Airmen's Attic is closed for the summer, but we
still need to work on items for our fall
delivery. Thank you for all you do to make this
service project such a success! Eyeglass cases
(1300) have been completed but are always in
need. These are easy to make using a serger.
Possible purchases to be made: A
suggestion to purchase new chairs for the room
was made. The cost would be approximately
$80.00 plus a minimum shipping charge of $80 per
shipment. ($10.95 per chair). Discussion
followed regarding the immediate needs of the
club. It was determined that the new cabinet
lifts were more of a priority issue due to the
possibility of injury if they are not repaired.
The board decided to pursue the repair of the
cabinets as an immediate issue and postponed the
purchase of chairs to a future date. The
Creative Quilters will be notified of our
decision as they expressed interest in the
purchase of chairs.
GMAIL/ACCOUNT: A gmail account
has been set up with the names of the current
membership for the purpose of sending emails to
the group. It was decided to restrict access to
the account to the president and 1st
vice president. Members wanting to use the
account should contact Deb or June.
