Mission Statement: To expand our knowledge by sewing together
This Group meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 12:30. The Group discusses and sews clothes for the 18 inch doll which are sold at the fall craft fairs and from out of the club room. (Kathleen Janiak and Charlotte McIver)
This group will meet to help the beginner quilter learn the basics of piecing and quilting. (Lynn Christensen, Charlotte Schwartz)
This group meets to discuss the sewing of quilts.....from the design, the piecing, the quilting. This group will not meet during the summer months, but will start up again on September 23.
Members meet the second Saturday of each month at 9:30 AM. All Sew 'n' Sew members are invited to help work on quilts that are donated to veterans thru the Quilts of Valor organization.
If you will be attending the August 13 meeting, please contact Mary Holland so she will know how many members to prepare for.
At the April 14 meeting a drawing was held for door prizes for those attending. The lucky winners were Julie D'Antonoli (4 fat quarters), Lois Sparrow (wall hanging), Lynn Christiansen (6 fat quarters).
The Embroidery SIG meets the 1st Tuesday of each month at 9:30AM. This group explores different patterns and techniques used for embroidery machines. (Janet Biegler , Marilyn Wolf )
Members want to participage in the Embroidery SIG. They admire the items the SIG is making, and want to embroidery them, but feel they don't have the skills. This group is there to improve your embroidery skills....meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 9:30AM and will begin on September 11. (Kathy Hermes, Sharyn Little)
