Special Interest Groups (SIG)

Doll SIG

  This Group meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 12:30.  The Group discusses and sews clothes for the 18 inch doll which are sold at the fall craft fairs and from out of the club room.    (Kathleen Janiak and Charlotte McIver)  

    

Beginning Quilting

This group meets the second Sunday of each month to help the beginner quilter learn the basics of piecing and quilting.  The group will not meet during the summer months....next meeting will be the second Sunday in October 2019.     (Lynn Christensen)

Quilt SIG / Quilts of Valor

  This  group meets the fourth Sunday of each month to discuss the sewing of quilts.....from the design, the  piecing, the quilting.  They also construction of quilts for the Quilts of Valor program.  This group will not meet during the summer months.  The next meeting will be the fourth Sunday of October 2019.  (Charlotte Schwartz/Mary Holland) 

Embroidery Special Interest Group

The Embroidery SIG meets the 1st Tuesday of each month at 9:30AM.  This group explores different patterns and techniques used for embroidery machines.   (Janet Biegler ,  Marilyn Wolf )

BEST (Basic Embroidery SIG Techniques)

Members want to participate in the Embroidery SIG.  They admire the items the SIG is making, and want to embroidery them, but feel they don't have the skills.    This group is there to improve your embroidery skills....meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 9:30AM .  (Kathy Hermes, Sharyn Little)
